"Is this safe for eczema- and psoriasis-prone skin?"
Yes! We carefully formulated this oil to not include known or hidden irritants. In addition, we’ve included well known calming actives including Oat Protein, Maunka Honey, Gotu Kola, Blue Tansy oil, and our patented bioactive are all proven to diminish symptoms of eczema, psoriasis, and other inflammatory concerns.
"What gives it a blue-green color?"
The color (and the slight candy smell) come from Blue Tansy oil, known for its powerful soothing, anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties. The formula is light-sensitive, so please keep out of direct sunlight. With light exposure, it can become a darker green.
"Do I need an oil if I already use a moisturizer?"
Yes – pure lipids (i.e. waterless products like oils or balms) are simpler for your skin to absorb, often permitting actives to penetrate deeper into the skin.
